Next day was a trip the The Hakone Shrine. It is the custom to go there in January to pray for a good year. The shrine was magnificent nestled in amongst huge pine trees.
Not often you see a new Shrine being built. This one has a big shiny copper roof.
The Landmark Shopping Centre & Tower. Spectacular views of Tokyo and Yokohama from the 69th floor that is reached by the fastest elevator in Japan.

It is amazing to me to see how much Yokohama has changed since 1980. It’s a beautiful city with wonderful people.
