Day one 4/1/25 starting at Sanjo O’hashi (Sanjo Bridge)

Sanjo O’hashi today.

Day didn’t start well. I took us to the wrong bridge. Finally found the right bridge but messed up the train journey. Finally ended up in Otsu.

Next stop Kusatsu. Needed some lunch so had some great Ramen.

We planned to go to the Lake Biwa Museum in Kusatsu but it was getting late so we decided to stay in Kusatsu and see the museum in the morning. Nice hotel – Hotel 21. quite cheap as well. Staff very friendly and helpful.
