The Diamond Princess received a huge welcome from the people of Takamatsu, fireworks and characters.

Takamatsu is located in central Kagawa Prefecture. It is a Port city on the Island of Shikoku in the Seto Inland sea

I took the shuttle into the town and walked the 2.5 kms of the shopping street. Of course it was actually 5kms as I had to walk back to the shuttle bus. I love the Japanese shopping street.

We got a fabulous send off as well.

Takamatsu is where you come to take the ferry  to the Art Islands.

Next day was spent at sea and I had a dabble on the pokies at the casino. Just had to put this image up…winner 90 free games.
